Marilyn Stewart
Marilyn moved from Queens, New York, to Melbourne, Florida as a child and attended Ascension Catholic School and Melbourne Central Catholic High School. She graduated from the University of Central Florida and has worked in education administration since 1999.
She was the Program Director for the Take Stock in Children of Florida through the Brevard Schools Foundation and now works at Take Stock in Children of Florida through the state office managing the Leaders for Life Fellowship. Her role with Leaders for Life is multi-faceted, from guiding the local affiliates through an application process and engaging all 77 fellows at the annual summer conference to visiting the current college undergraduates at the universities they attend.
Marilyn continues volunteering with the Space Coast Rolling Readers as a board member and reader at Roy Allen Elementary School. She and her husband, Dean, live in Indian Harbour Beach and love entertaining family and friends and enjoying the beautiful outdoor-water life.
